Yes it’s cold here in the capital, but it will be even colder in Brixton this weekend, especially if you’re heading anywhere near the new Coors Light Ice Bar. Open from Saturday 13th December until Thursday 18th December, this winter themed Coors Light pop up bar will be serving its famously cold Coors beer and a host of other super-cool Coors Light cocktails.
Before entering the Ice Bar guests are to be wrapped up (like a Christmas present) in a cape and gloves to help cope with the -5°c temperature inside. During a brief 30-minute stay (it’s too cold to stay any longer!) visitors can chill-out on a choice of ice-carved furniture and experience a range of fascinating alternative tipples. Oh, and don’t go worrying about your cash notes and coins freezing, there’s a wristband system in place to deal with that.
