BOSS THE COCKTAIL: THE GRAND MARNIER CARTON COCKTAIL

Carton Serve v5

Partial to a cocktail (or two or three) ourselves, we thought we’d enjoy the last drops of summer with a majestic seasonal fluid send off, saying cheers to all the good stuff of summer 2014.

In search of a brand new ‘Boss The Cocktail’ recipe for us and our readers we selected an innovative option provided by the good ol’ folks at The Blind Pig, London.

The head bartenders at The Blind Pig have created a bespoke new Grand Marnier cocktail, launching this month and available exclusively at The Blind Pig and Social Eating House in Soho, London. The new cocktail takes its inspiration from a traditional juice carton, adopting an innovative and quirky approach to cocktail serving.

Created by Gareth Evans (Group Bar Manager at The Social Eating House) and Kyle Wilkinson (Head Bartender at The Blind Pig), their vision was to use a simple cocktail recipe whilst creating a serve that is both unique and playful.

“We wanted to create a cocktail that is simple but at the same time unique and looks amazing. We try to develop cocktails that are fun and make you smile before having even tasted the drink. For us, it’s all about creating inventive cocktails that add to the overall experience for our guests.” says Gareth Evans.
