The Lacoste Borneo watch is one of the latest releases from the French fashion brand, who recently unleashed their 2013 watch collection.
The new Borneo range is a sporty, smart and stylish collection, available in a host of colour options. The Borneo is available in two options with/without the three sub dials, a comfortable black textured silicone strap, Quartz movement, water resistance (up to 10 ATM) and a two-year warranty. The timepiece is the perfect offering for a budget of around £100.
The Borneo wristwatch oozes personality, charm and style. A personal favorite standout style is the combination of long-lasting materials with a strong emphasis of fun in it’s design! It’s difficult to be a skeptic of the Borneo, the fixed black plastic bezel with skeleton hands both demonstrate charisma and appeal. Lacoste have heavily branded the Borneo with the Lacoste crocodile below the 12 o’clock position, and “Lacoste” written in very small font around the face 18 times (yet unnoticeably somewhat).
Type: Analog. Chronograph – three sub-dials displaying: 60 second, 60 minute and 24 hour. Quartz movement. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Pull / push crown. Solid case back. Case diameter: 44 mm. Case thickness: 13 mm. Round case shape. Tang clasp. Water resistant at 100 meters / 330 feet. Functions: chronograph, hour, minute, second.
In conclusion the Borneo is a casual watch with snappy crocodile character. Whilst the watch retails for around £100, quality and reliability are not conceded in any shape or form. Lacoste have delivered a superb everyday watch, with a host of colour options available (above), with a strong emphasis on fun and style! Visit the Lacoste online store
